What is a virtual colonoscopy, how is it different from a conventional colonoscopy, and how much does it cost?
A virtual colonoscopy is an examination of the colon by means of a Scanner, and does not require sedation. Unlike a conventional colonoscopy, it is a non-invasive procedure, which means that the insertion of a colonoscope (endoscopic tube) in order to examine the colon is not necessary. The cost is 300€.

I have to renew my driver’s license. Where do I need to go and what documents do I need to bring?

You may come to our center located on calle Pelayo nº 40, without an appointment, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. You must bring your driver’s license, identification card, three passport size photos, and the letter sent to you by the Department of Motor Vehicles (Dirección General de Tráfico) stating that your driver’s license is going to expire. The cost is 55€ and, if you should so desire, we can take care of the processing for you for free, however, paying only the fees above 22.90€.

What types of medical certificates do you issue?
Private security, gun permits, scuba diving, possession of dangerous animals, medical certificates for yachts, etc.

Do you conduct blood and urine tests?
You may come to any of our centers from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (without having eaten beforehand), without an appointment but with a doctor’s request.

How much does a visit with a specialist cost?
It depends on the specialty, normally between 50€ and 100€.

What does a gynecologic examination consist of and how much does it cost?
It consists of a full gynecologic and breast examination, gynecologic ultrasound scan, mammogram, and Pap test. The cost is 175€.

What is a 3D ultrasound scan?
The three-dimensional ultrasound scan represents the latest advance in ultrasonography. It consists of the visualization in three dimensions of the images obtained from the ultrasound scan.
This new technique allows us to see the fetus moving around just as if we were inside the mother’s uterus, and thus obtain accurate images of the fetus. We can clearly discern the entire silhouette of the baby and all of its contours, watch its movements, gestures ...
We recommend having this test done between week 26 and 30 of pregnancy. The cost of procedure is 165€ and includes a 15-minute DVD recording of the fetus. 3D ultrasound scans are performed in the Creu Blanca Tarradellas Center, Av. Josep Tarradellas 104-106, 08029 Barcelona.
